Paraclete Energy Appoints Global Battery Industry Leader Bob Galyen to Board of Directors

With nearly five decades of experience spanning battery technology, manufacturing, commercialization, and global supply chain development, Galyen is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities in the battery industry. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), helping guide the company's growth into the world's largest manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries. Throughout his career, he has advised organizations across the automotive, aerospace, defense, and energy sectors and remains one of the industry's most respected voices on battery innovation and manufacturing.

Galyen's appointment marks a significant milestone for Paraclete Energy as the company advances commercialization of its U.S.-made SILO Silicon™ platform. Designed to improve lithium-ion battery performance while remaining compatible with existing manufacturing infrastructure, SILO Silicon enables battery manufacturers to adopt silicon anode technology without costly production-line retooling—a challenge that has historically limited widespread silicon adoption.
