Justin Norris, President & CEO
Justin Norris serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Paraclete Energy at a moment when the company’s work must move from research into qualification and early commercialization. The task is not simply to advance technology, but to ensure that what has been developed can be produced consistently and trusted by customers who depend on it.
Before becoming CEO, Justin served as Director of Operations, where he built the operational foundations supporting Paraclete’s SILO Silicon™ anode material. His work addressed the practical problem of taking SILO Silicon™ out of the lab and making it manufacturable. That work focused on removing uncertainty from the process—establishing what could be scaled, what had to be controlled, and what customers would actually receive when the material left Paraclete’s hands. The goal was not demonstration, but repeatability, so that evaluation could be based on performance rather than assumption.
Justin’s approach to leadership was shaped by thirteen years in Naval Special Warfare, where he served as a SEAL team leader, medic, and sniper. The demands of that work reinforced the importance of preparation, accountability, and decisions made with incomplete information, lessons he carries into Paraclete’s technical and operational execution as the company moves toward commercial readiness.
He holds an MBA from Purdue University, with a focus on technology commercialization and strategic management, and a Bachelor of Science from Norwich University.
Justin is committed to preserving the standards established at Paraclete from its founding. He treats the company’s mission – “to bring light to all those in darkness” – not as a statement of intent, but as a measure against which decisions are tested. That responsibility guides how Paraclete advances its materials science work toward safer, more dependable energy sources that can perform in demanding applications and be relied upon where they matter most.
